Best Physiotherapy Clinic Management Software in India (2026)

Choosing clinic software is a bigger decision than it looks. Once your patients, notes and bills are inside a system, you live with it every day. This guide looks at the physiotherapy clinic management software Indian physios most often compare in 2026, what each one says it does, what it costs, and how to decide. We make Clinidiary, so we have said plainly where we think it is strongest, and we have kept every fact about other products to what they publish themselves.

The short answer

  • There is no single best. The right system depends on how many physios and branches you have, how many home visits and packages you run, and how your patients pay.
  • For a physio clinic that wants everything in one place, notes, GST bills, UPI, packages, WhatsApp reminders, home visits and staff, compare the physiotherapy-first products below during their free starts. Clinidiary, which we make, is one of them: free for six months, then ₹300 a month per physiotherapist.
  • For a free start: +Physio and Physio Plus Tech publish permanent free plans with fewer features, Clinidiary gives six months with every feature, and most other Indian physio software offers a 10 to 15 day trial.
  • For clinics with several branches: look closely at how each product handles one patient across branches. Our guide to multi-branch physiotherapy clinic software covers what to check.
  • Choosing by the kind of clinic you run: see the best physiotherapy software in India, by clinic type, and the best PMS for physio in India.
  • For a gym or fitness business that also offers physio: a fitness platform such as CoachFitOS may suit your memberships better, though it costs much more per month.

What the best physiotherapy clinic software must do in India

Before looking at names, it helps to agree on what "best" means for an Indian physio clinic. These are the things that decide it:

  1. A diary built for physios. Every therapist side by side, repeat bookings checked for clashes, and a waiting list that fills cancellations.
  2. Proper treatment notes. Templates, body charts, cases and outcome measures, not a doctor's prescription screen.
  3. GST done correctly. Treatment by a physiotherapist is a healthcare service and is generally exempt from GST, while braces, tapes and some non-clinical items are taxable. Your software should print a bill of supply for exempt treatment and charge GST only where it applies. See GST billing for physiotherapy clinics.
  4. UPI, cash and card on one bill, with part payments, and a day end that balances the drawer.
  5. Packages. Ten or twenty sessions paid up front, counted down visit by visit. See treatment packages.
  6. WhatsApp reminders. Patients in India read WhatsApp, not email. See WhatsApp appointment reminders.
  7. Home visits and tele-physio, as normal bookings. See home visit physiotherapy and video consultations.
  8. Data protection. Where the data is stored, who can open clinical notes, and what happens under the DPDP Act. See patient data security and the DPDP Act.
  9. A fair, published price, and a way to take your data with you.

How to choose in one afternoon

  1. Write down your week. How many physios, how many branches, how many home visits, how many package patients. The right software fits that week, not a feature list.
  2. Try it with real work. Book a day's patients, write two notes, make a bill with UPI, sell a package. Any good software should let you do this inside the free start.
  3. Ask for a sample bill. Check your GSTIN, the bill of supply heading for treatment, and HSN or SAC codes where they apply.
  4. Check the WhatsApp reminder. Send one to your own phone and read it as a patient would.
  5. Ask where the data is stored and how you get it out if you leave.

What Clinidiary offers

  • Six months free, with every feature, starting with just your email. That is long enough to run real months through it, including a month-end.
  • One record from booking to bill. The appointment, the note, the bill and the package are one visit, so nothing has to be copied between screens.
  • The clinical side is serious. Notes save themselves as you type and lock once signed, cases have their own goals and discharge, and measures show progress over time.
  • Indian money is handled properly. Bill of supply for exempt treatment, GST on products, UPI QR codes from your own UPI ID with no gateway fee, and a day end that balances.
  • Fair pricing. ₹300 a month per physio, with the front desk, managers and owner free.
  • Your data stays in India, hosted in Mumbai, and you can export everything whenever you like.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best physiotherapy clinic management software in India in 2026?

There is no single best; it depends on your clinic. A physiotherapy clinic that wants notes, GST bills, UPI, packages, WhatsApp reminders and home visits in one system should compare the physiotherapy-first products during their free starts, Clinidiary among them. Clinics that run several medical specialties may prefer a multi-specialty system.

How much does physiotherapy clinic software cost in India?

Published prices in 2026 range from free plans to about ₹12,000 a month. Most physio-only products sit between ₹500 and ₹1,000 a month for a small clinic. Clinidiary is ₹300 a month per physiotherapist after six free months. See how much physiotherapy software costs in India.

Is physical therapy software the same as physiotherapy software?

Yes. "Physical therapy" is the American term and "physiotherapy" is the one used in India, but people search for both. Physical therapy clinic management software and physiotherapy clinic management software do the same job.

Does physiotherapy software in India need to handle GST?

Yes, if your clinic is GST-registered. Treatment is usually exempt, so it goes on a bill of supply, while products such as braces and tapes carry GST with an HSN code. Good software handles both on the same bill.

Can I move my patients from my current software?

Yes. Export your patient list as an Excel or CSV file and load it into Clinidiary. See moving your clinic from paper or Excel.
