Physiotherapy Software in India, Built for How Indian Clinics Work

Clinidiary is physiotherapy software made for the way an Indian clinic actually runs: a busy morning OPD, patients who pay by UPI, ten-session packages, home visits after a knee replacement, and reminders that go on WhatsApp because that is where your patients read them. Bookings, treatment notes, bills and staff are in one place, on your computer, tablet or phone.

What physiotherapy management software does for your clinic

Most clinics start with a register, a diary and a WhatsApp group. It works for the first fifty patients. After that, things start slipping: a follow-up nobody called, a package where nobody is sure how many sessions are left, a bill the patient needs for Mediclaim that takes twenty minutes to make in Word.

Physiotherapy management software keeps all of that in one record per patient. When a patient walks in, the front desk sees today's appointment, what is owed and any alert. When you open their file, you see every note, every measure and every letter from the first visit. When the day ends, the money in the drawer and the UPI credits match the screen.

Clinidiary covers the whole day:

Made for Indian physiotherapy clinics, not adapted for them

A lot of clinic software in India was built for doctors' OPDs and then given a "physio module". You can tell, because it asks for a prescription where you want a SOAP note, and it has no idea what a package is.

Clinidiary was built for physiotherapy first. That shows in small things that matter every day:

  • A patient can have more than one case running, say a frozen shoulder and a knee, each with its own notes, goals and discharge.
  • Outcome measures are recorded visit after visit, so you can show a patient their pain score coming down. See outcome measures and progress tracking.
  • Home visits and classes are normal bookings, not workarounds. See home visit physiotherapy and group classes.
  • Treatment is GST-exempt by default. A GST-registered clinic gets a "Bill of supply" for treatment, and GST only on the products and items that are taxable.
  • Mediclaim is marked on the patient, and a bill can be shared as a link on WhatsApp for the patient to send to their insurer or TPA.

Your data stays in India

Indian clinics' records are hosted in Mumbai, on a server that holds Indian clinics only. Every connection is encrypted, sign-in can use a passkey or two-factor code, screens lock themselves when you step away, and every record keeps a trail of who did what. Front desk logins can never open clinical notes, whatever anybody sets.

India's DPDP Act asks clinics to protect patient data and to know what they would do if something went wrong. Our guide to patient data security and the DPDP Act explains what that means for a physio clinic in plain words.

What it costs

Clinidiary is free for the first six months, with every feature, starting with just your email. After that it is ₹300 a month for each physiotherapist, or ₹250 a month when paid yearly, plus GST. Owners, managers, receptionists and accounts staff are free, so a clinic with two physios and a front desk pays for two people.

There is no separate charge for WhatsApp reminders, online booking, packages or multiple branches. See run your physio clinic for just ₹250 a month. For a full breakdown, and how this compares with what other software in India charges, read how much physiotherapy software costs in India.

One clinic or many branches

If you run two or three centres, every branch has its own address, phone, opening hours and online booking link, but patients, staff and reports stay in one place. A patient who visits your Satellite branch on Monday and your Bopal branch on Thursday has one file. Read clinic management software for multi-branch physiotherapy practices for how that works.

Moving from a register, Excel or other software

You can bring your patient list in yourself from an Excel or CSV file. Clinidiary reads the column headings, shows you exactly what will happen, and you load it with one more click. Our guide to moving your clinic from paper or Excel walks through it, step by step.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best physiotherapy software in India?

The best one is the one that fits how your clinic works. For most Indian physio clinics that means GST bills and UPI, session packages, WhatsApp reminders, home visits, proper treatment notes and a fair price per physio. Clinidiary does all of these and is free for six months, so you can run your own clinic on it before deciding.

Is there free physiotherapy software in India?

Clinidiary is free for the first six months with every feature included. After that it is ₹300 a month per physiotherapist. Receptionists, managers and owners never pay.

Does Clinidiary work on mobile?

Yes. Every screen works on a phone, an iPad held either way and a computer, so you can write notes in the treatment room and check the diary from home.

Can I use it for home visit physiotherapy?

Yes. Home visits are booked, noted and billed like any visit, with travel time blocked in the diary. Packages work for home patients too.

Is my patients' data safe?

Indian clinics' data is hosted in Mumbai. Connections are encrypted, sign-in can use passkeys or two-factor codes, and every action is recorded in an audit trail.
